Half-Blood Prince And Snape

According to [Mugglenet], there is an ad running in the "Publishers Quality Library Service" catalog for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince detailing some of the mysteries to be uncovered come this summer. One of which is "the truth about why Dumbledore trusts Snape." I don't know about you, but I am quite excited to learn that Ms. Rowling is, hopefully, going to give us some concrete answers concerning Snape's past.

I'd like to wish an early Happy 59th Birthday to The Man himself! While I'd like to be there myself to give him his present, he shall have to make do with this message from me and fond memories of last year's present (which, as it happens, was also a message from me). And, speaking of birthdays, 10 days ago Greasy Git celebrated the big number two! Huzzah for two years of borderline stalker behavior.

New Hitchhiker's Guide Trailer

While you won't be able to hear The Man's wonderful voice in this trailer, you will see Marvin, the paranoid android whose voice belongs to Mr. Rickman, as well as first looks at the rest of the cast. The trailer is currently at [amazon.com], although it may show up on the film's official site [hitchhikermovie.com] before long.
Love Letters (Revisited)

[The Arvon Foundation] hosted the Love Letters gala dinner on the 10th, which featured Mr. Rickman as a speaker among other celebrities. RickiNicki, from [The Alan Rickman Guestbook] was fortunate enough to attend and meet The Man himself. She took this [lovely picture] and gave us [this report] to make us all insanely jealous.
