Thwarted Again
31 July 2004
You all might recall back in November that Mr. Rickman was supposedly scheduled to be on The Wayne Brady Show and tuned in only to see 3 people who were most categorically not Alan Rickman. Well, it turns out that Wednesday's show is a rerun of that very same episode. Blast!
Alan On Wayne Brady
24 July 2004
According to [TARF], Mr. Rickman will be appearing on The Wayne Brady Show on Wednesday, August 4th. I guess in light of the recent Emmy nominations, he's doing more promo work for Something the Lord Made. It's not listed on the Wayne Brady site yet, but we'll know for sure by the beginning of next week.
TRL Goes Behind The Scenes
24 July 2004
On July 30th MTV's Total Request Live will be airing a behind the scenes look at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It's doubtful we'll see any footage of The Man, but one can always hope.
And The Nominees Are...
15 July 2004
Mr. Rickman and his compadres in Something the Lord Made have been rewarded for their hard work by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The nominees for the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were released today, and while HBO's Angels in America pulled in an astonishing 21 nominations, Emma Thompson garnering one of them, Something the Lord Made still received a respectable 9 nominations. The most important, of course, being Rickman's nod for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie, in which Mos Def was nominated as well. [Click here] to see the full list of nominees. [Thanks to both Beth and Kate for letting me know!]
