HarryPotter.com Has A New Look
24 Mar 2004
Or will, at any rate. [TLC] reported earlier today that the official Harry Potter site would be moving over to it's Prisoner of Azkaban inspired design this evening. It's 9:00 pm EST right now, perhaps they meant Pacific time? But, in case you stand to wait any longer for a glimpse of the new trailer, you can head on over to either [Leaky] or [Mugglenet] to see clips from both Access Hollywood and Extra.
UPDATE: Both the new trailer and the new design (including a wallpaper of the beloved Potions master) are now up! Screen captures will be coming shortly.
Acts of Charity and a First Look
23 Mar 2004
Mr. Rickman is going to be a busy boy this year as he is attached to yet another project, the dark comedy Acts of Charity penned by Chips Hardy. The story "follows the trials and tribulations of a young corporate executive sent on a humanitarian mission in the African jungle." Alan is reportedly playing a "British ex-pat journalist." HBO will be airing "First Look: The Making of Prisoner of Azkaban" on May 25th and May 31st.

New Snape In Trailer
18 Mar 2004
Unfortunately WB has already requested that [DigiCasey] take down the screen captures they got of the new PoA trailer. On the other hand, [TLc] has reported that Snape is shown teaching the DADA class while Lupin is away. By the way, if anyone got any of those screen caps on their computer before they took them down, feel free to [send] them my way.
On a side note, while there are no new images of Snape on this site, there are some new ones of Harry as well as one of Emma Thompson as Trelawney. [Click here] to check them out.
UPDATE: [HPANA] has a transcript for the entire trailer (which clocks in at 1 minute and 54 seconds).

Snape Is No Sucker
04 Mar 2004
There were a good number of questions asked regarding our dear Potions Master during chat with JKR for World Book Day. I'm not going to post them all, but I'd like to make this clear once and for all. Snape is not a vampire! I knew that, of course, just wanted to make sure everyone else did. If you'd like to read the whole chat, go check out the transcript at [Mugglenet].
New Merch Coming In April
03 Mar 2004
I found out today that [Hot Topic] will be carrying some new Harry Potter merchandise in the coming months. I know for sure that we will be getting in a girls' tee in April, presumably in the same style as the one we are currently carrying, but I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks.
