Pseudo-Hiatus
31 May 2005
Greasy Git is going on a pseudo-hiatus at the moment. I will still be updating with news stories and other info you'll need on Mr. Rickman's upcoming projects. However, while I am currently focusing my efforts on getting my new endeavor, Rickman-Online.net, the content of Greasy Git may temporarily suffer. Once my other site is live, only the Snape/Harry Potter-related content will remain on this site and the rest will be on Rickman-Online.net. I thank you all for continuing to visit here and hope that you will also find time to explore the new site when it becomes available.
Greasy Git Is Awesome
23 May 2005
I'd like to give a big thank you to the good folks over at [The Quibbler] who have chosen my site, Greasy Git, as June's Site of the Month. The article is in the process of being written and I shall post the link once it's up. In other, but quite related, news you should go vote for this site at the [Magical Three Awards] if you agree with The Quibbler's assessment of the site.
John Donne Appearance Cancelled
17 May 2005
Thanks to a report from [Claudia], it has come to our attention that Mr. Rickman has had to cancel his appearance at the upcoming John Donne reading at St. Paul's Cathedral on June 9th. This has not yet been confirmed by [Ticketmaster.co.uk] officially, however, so if you bought tickets for the event you should contact them directly.
Goblet of Fire Teaser Trailer
06 May 2005
Be sure to keep an eye on [Apple.com]'s trailer page for the new Goblet of Fire trailer. According to [Mugglenet], it should be up by the end of this weekend. We could be seeing our first glimpse of our favourite professor! And, if that weren't enough, ABC will be airing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on Saturday night with a special preview of Goblet of Fire, much like, I imagine, they did for Prisoner of Azkaban.
UPDATE (07 May): The official website for the movie is now up, along with the first of many trailers, you can check it out over at [GobletOfFire.com]. No new shots of Snape, except for a [glimpse of him] in the background of the Great Hall.
